The Up
coming Migratory Fish Challenge
Thanks go to Carol for all her hard work she has been
putting in.
Bar Duty: Michael and Steve will be on bar duty.
Steve will be organizing the music. Each person entering
the comp will get 2 free beers on presentation of their
tickets.
Food: We will be serving wors rolls and have various
salads. Michelle is gonna try and organise meats from
Thompsons Meats. Each person who enters the comp will
get one wors roll and extra rolls or rolls for wives and
kids will have to be paid for.
Braai: Martin will be the man sorting out the braaing.
Registration: We need someone to volunteer to do
the registration, handing out the shirts etc.
Salads and Cutlery: The women will sort this out.
Marcus: Will be pick up some extra chairs and dropping
them off at the venue.
Chris is gonna try and get hold of a digital scale.
The compo shirt is gonna be a stone colour.
Cleaning Up: The venue needs to be spotless by
the morning, so we are requesting all members to help
clean up after wards.

Banking
and Finances
To date, Robin has been handling the finances for the
club - on a cash basis. Chris has decided that a bank
account is now required, particularly for the purpose
of our competition, where entrants will be needing to
deposit their entry fees.
A vote was taken to ensure all members agreed with this
decision, as well as having Chris Coates, Michelle Coates
and Carol Mackie as the three authorised signatories on
the account. All present in agreement.

Club issues:
Wayne has joined the Parksboard as an Honorary member.
A few people are not happy about this. We discussed it
at the meeting and the it seems the majority of people
do not have a problem with this. What does everyone else
think??

In order to avoid future
conflicts Chris felt we as a club would need to decide
were we are going as a club and what we stand for. He
felt that if there were no grey areas there would less
chance of misunderstandings and politics. So over the
next few weeks we will be re looking at the Constitution
and if necessary a code of conduct. You input here as
club members will be vital.
We must keep the pics on the website for really good fish,
like trophy fish and personal bests.

Lastly:
Congrats to the guys from our club who dived at the Vidal
Comp, getting some good fish and good prizes.
