Salt Rock Spearfishing Club Wins the DUC Gamefish Comp

Be proud guys, we won!

Last year we dominated the comp, but did not get the team prize. But this year we came back strong and won it.

A big thanks to all those who showed their commitment to the club by competing in the comp. Our strength was not only in the high quality of our fish but in our numbers. It was also good to see that none of our members partook in the baby reefie blatting bonanza, that accompanies the comps. - Well done!!!

Here are the top ten fish weighed
1 Graham Carlisle - 16.5kg cuta
2 Brent Addison - 13kg mirror fish
3 Iain Ewing - 9.1kg queen fish
4 Sean Ried - 7.6kg snoek
5 Chris Coates - 7.2kg queen fish
6 Chris Coates - 6.5kg snoek
7 Sean Burns - 6.1kg snoek
8 Steve Farrer - 5.45kg springer
9 Robin Sanders - 2.5kg king fish
10 Chris Coates - 2.25kg king fish
